Volunteer your time for a Local No-Kill Animal Shelter
Country Animal Haven
Madison, WI 53719
Good Morning to all of you. If you are a cat or kitten lover we have the greatest volunteer opportunity for you.
Do you have a few hours a week or month that you would like to help out a Local No-Kill Animal Shelter?
COUNTRY ANIMAL HAVEN is a non-profit, no kill animal rescue and shelter located in Stoughton WI. Country Animal Haven does not receive any Government funding. We do not receive any special grants. We rely on the kindness of others via donation, fostering, helping at the adoption events, and many other ways.
We have special programs in place like our "Cans for Cats" and "Pennies for Puddies" and "Shop for Shelter" in hopes that the communities in our area can find an easy way to assist with the cost of maintaining and caring for the animals. The prime person for this would be someone who has the networking with Girl Scouts or Brownie leaders or a person that can assist in getting the communities more aware of them.. The thought process behind "Pennies for Puddies" is so simple.... Collect & take a old plastic jar with lid and collect pennies or change for us. We have one young boy who instead of accepting gifts or money for his birthday brings in a box with checks made out to us rather than receiving money or gifts for himself. "Cans for Cats" is simple also. Save your aluminum case and donate them to us. "Shop for Shelter" is for anyone that shops at Bill's Food Center in Oregon WI. When you check out ask for the sticker to put on your receipt and donate the receipt to us. We send them in monthly and Bill's Foods kindly donates a % of the total amount back to us. We also have an account with GOODSHOP.COM AND GOODSEARCH.COM to raise money from people who shop or search online. Any questions please email me.
We are also in need to volunteers to help at our adoption events at Petsmart West in Madison each Saturday from 12 to 3. Volunteers to help at our concession stand at the Kohl Center in Madison for the Men's home Hockey Games. Volunteers that are willing to foster animals. And people who would love to get our "Pennies for Puddies" campaign going. The prime person for this would be someone who has the networking with Girl Scouts or Brownie leaders. It is so simple.... Collect & take a old plastic jar with lid and collect pennies for us.
If this something that sparks your interest please call or email me.
