Guitar Bass Banjo and Keyboard Music Lessons

The Fret Store offers professional private music lessons with 7 highly qualified teachers in a safe friendly environment. All lessons are conducted at The Fret Store located at 172 West Main Street Morristown, TN 37814

Instruction is available in the following areas:

  • Guitar and Electric Bass. Beginner to Advanced
  • Woodwinds(Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Oboe). Beginner to Advanced
  • Keyboard and Piano Beginner to Intermediate
  • Percussion (Kit Drums and Hand Drums) Beginner to Intermediate
  • Banjo Beginner to Intermediate
  • Mandolin Beginner to Intermediate
  • Violin and Fiddle Beginner to Intermediate

The rate is $50 per month paid in advance which includes one 30 minute private lesson per week.  On months with 5 weeks of a particular day, the 5th lesson is free! Call the store at 423-581-3280 to schedule and register. Each student is assigned a specific time slot and teacher and will remain in that time slot and with the same teacher. For example, if the student signs up for Tuesday evening at 6 pm with Martin, they will always be at 6 on Tuesday with Martin. With over 200 private students taking lessons each week this provides continuity and rapport building with the teacher.

Please note that taking music lessons is a commitment that requires regular attendance to the weekly lessons and daily practice. If you can commit to practicing 30 minutes per day you can learn to play music. Research clearly shows that kids that are involved in music lessons and play music far outperform those that do not in many academic areas, especially in Math and Science. On top of that, playing music is a skill that will last a lifetime, bringing joy and contentment.
